Paula Kay Spear is a wife, mother of two adult children, and a children’s pastor.
Paula was a content stay-at-home mom when her husband was laid off and she was thrust back into the workplace. After a stint as a daycare director, she was called to ministry and became the children’s pastor of her home church. She learned how to lead a growing children’s ministry through prayer, development of systems, and an emphasis on creating the right team to come along and help her sustain an effective children’s ministry.
Paula has led children’s ministries for over seventeen years. She has pastored at churches in Indiana, Arizona, and Ohio. She has created strategies that helped double the volunteer staff and average children’s attendance while maintaining her spiritual health and growth.
